Built by someone who needed it.
Hi, I'm Dávid — founder of RelayData.
I've spent years working with companies that need to move and consolidate data across systems but can't use SaaS tools because of data sovereignty, compliance, or simply because they don't have a data engineering team. The options were always the same: expensive enterprise platforms that take months to implement, open-source stacks that require dedicated DevOps, or manual exports and spreadsheets.
I built RelayData because I believe every company deserves enterprise-grade data capabilities regardless of size or budget. The AI handles the data engineering. You handle the business decisions. Your data never leaves your infrastructure.
I'm based in Budapest, Hungary, and I use RelayData myself — it runs in production at a healthcare clinic, consolidating clinical and operational data across multiple systems.
The company behind RelayData.
RelayData is built by PylonHQ, a software company registered in Budapest, Hungary. We're an EU company building data infrastructure for EU data sovereignty — not a US SaaS platform offering “GDPR compliance” as an afterthought.
Being based in the EU means we understand the regulatory environment our customers operate in. GDPR, data residency requirements, and compliance obligations aren't features we bolt on — they're the reason this product exists.
Three things changed.
AI became good enough.
Schema mapping, error diagnosis, and drift classification weren't possible at production quality two years ago. Today, AI can genuinely replace the judgment calls that used to require a data engineer. Not everywhere — but in the specific places where it matters most.
Self-hosting became simple.
'Self-hosted' used to mean weeks of server configuration. Today it means one command. The barrier to running enterprise-grade software on your own infrastructure dropped to nearly zero.
Every company needs a data strategy.
Mid-market companies that never had data infrastructure budgets are now asking 'how do we use AI on our data?' RelayData answers that question: install it on your servers, connect your systems, and the AI gives you a unified data layer you can build on.
